CHAP. 71.—An ACT for the relief of J. R. Whitehead, treasurer
of Pittsylvania county.
Approved January 19, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the county school board for the county of Pittsylva-
nia be, and they are hereby, empowered to allow J. R.
Whitehead, county treasurer of said county, in his annual
settlement with them, on account of school funds to be
apportioned said county for the year eighteen hundred and
ninety-one, a sum which shall be equal to not exceeding
two per centum on school funds apportioned to said county
under act of March third, eighteen hundred and seventy-
nine, for the years eighteen hundred and seventy-nine,
eighteen hundred and eighty, and eighteen hundred and
eighty-one, for which years he did not receive compensa-
tion, as by law he was entitled for disbursing said funds.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
