Chap. 701.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3224 of the
code of Virginia, in relation to summons and service of scire
acias.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section thirty-two hundred and twenty-four of the
-ode of Virginia, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
§ 3224. How summons in scire facias served; copy to
96 made out for defendant.—Any summons or scire facias
may be served as a notice is served under section thirty-
-wo hundred and seven, except that when such process is
against a corporation, the mode of service shall be as pre-
scribed by the following section: the clerk issuing such
process, unless otherwise directed, shall deliver or trans-
mit therewith as many copies thereof as there are persons
named therein, on whom it is to be served.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
