Chap. 699.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved Feb-
ruary 16, 1892, entitled an act to amend and re-enact section 1 of
chapter 129 of the acts of the general assembly of Virginia, ap-
roved February 28, 1890, entitled an act to prescribe the time
or holding the courts in the seventeenth judicial circuit.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That an act approved February sixteenth, eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, entitled an act to amend and re-enact sec-
tion one of chapter one hundred and twenty-nine of the
acts of the general assembly of Virginia, approved Februa-
ry twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an
act to prescribe the time for holding the courts in the sev-
enteenth judicial circuit, be sv amended and re-enacted as
to read as follows:
§ 1. That the circuit court for the several counties com-
prising the seventeenth judicial circuit shall be held as
follows:
Buchanan county: On the fourth Monday in February,
May and September.
Dickenson county: On the second Monday in February,
May and October
Scott county: On the third Monday in March, June and
November.
Lee county: On the first Monday in March, June and
November.
Wise county: On the third Monday after the fourth
Monday in March, the first Monday in September and
first Monday in December, in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, and after that time, in succeeding years,
the first Monday in April, September and December.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act
are hereby repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
