CHAP. 691.—An ACT regulating the fishing of purse-nets and
und-nets in the tributaries of the Potomac river within the
fariediction of the counties of Stafford, King George, Westmore-
land and Northumberland, and in the Rappahannock river.
Approved March 8, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That it shall be lawful for any person to fish with a purse-
net or pound-net in any of the tributaries of the Potomac
river, within the jurisdiction of the counties of Stafford,
King George, Westmoreland and Northumberland, between
the first day of September and the first day of June in
any year, and in the Rappahannock river.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act
are hereby repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
