CHAP. 672.—An ACT for the relief of John M. Kinney, of Au-
gusta county.
Approved March 8, 1892.
Whereas in the month of January, eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, John M. Kinney, of Staunton, Virginia,
was employed by a special joint committee of the general
assembly of Virginia as clerk, and was directed by said
committee to make copies of certain legal documents filed
in the hustings court clerk’s office of said city of Staunton,
and to do other clerical work for said committee; and
whereas the said committee returned its report and the
legislature adjourned without auditing or allowing the
account of the said clerk, although the service was per-
formed and the work returned to the committee as directed ;
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the auditor be, and he is hereby, authorized and di-
rected to draw his warrant upon the treasury in favor of
the said John M. Kinney for the sum of twenty-five dollars
in full payment of the service above recited, to be paid out
of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
