CHAP. 671.—An ACT to abolish the precinct of Pigg river, in the
county of Franklin.
Approved March 8, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the precinct of Pigg river, in the county of Frank-
lin, be, and the same is hereby, abolished, and that all
the voters of the magisterial district of Blackwater, now
voting at the two precincts of Pigg river and Callaway’s,
composing said district, shall hereafter vote at Callaway’s,
thus making one voting precinct of the said district. It
shall be the duty of the registrar of the present precinct
of Pigg river to turn over his registration books to the
registrar of the present Callaway’s precinct, and the regis-
trar of the latter precinct shall thereupon transfer all the
names upon said books to his own books. For this ser-
vice he shall receive the sum of four cents a name, to be
paid by the county of Franklin.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
