CHAP. 654.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act
passed by the general assembly of Virginia entitled an act to
ncorporate the Bland county land improvement, development
and transportation company, approved February 22, 1890.
Approved March 8, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section two of an act approved February twenty-
second, eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled an act to
incorporate the Bland county land improvement, develop-
ment and transportation company be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 2. The capital stock of said company shall be not less
than one thousand dollars, and may be increased in any
amount not exceeding two million dollars by issue and
sale of shares, the par value of which shall not be less
than fifty dollars, under such regulation as the board of
directors shall, from time to time, determine; and the di-
rectors may receive real or personal property suited to the
business of the company in payment of subscription to
the capital stock at such valuation as may be agreed upon
between the directors and subscribers, and otherwise sell
and dispose of said stock in such manner and upon such
terms and at such price as the board of directors may
prescribe.
2. The incorporators named in said act may organize
thereunder at any time within one year from the passage
of this act.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
