CHAP. 640.—An ACT to amend 5th section of an act entitled an
act to incorporate the Blacksburg railway company, approved
March 6, 1890.

Approved March 8, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section five of an act entitled “an act to incorporate
the Blacksburg railroad company,” approved March fifth,
eighteen hundred and ninety, be amended so as to read as
follows:

5. That no payments on account of subscriptions to
the stock shall be required until not less than ten thou-
sand dollars have been subscribed by solvent persons or
corporations, and the construction of said road shall not
be commenced until the minimum of the capital stock
aforesaid shal] have been subscribed and ten per centum
thereof paid in; and said company shall commence their
line within two years from the first day of March, eighteen
hundred and ninety-two, and complete the same within
five years thereafter.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage, subject
to modification or repeal, at the pleasure of the general
assembly.
