CHAP. 615.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act
approved December 22, 1891, entitled ‘‘an act to give the con-
sent of the commonwealth to the purchase or acquisition of real
estate by the United States government in the city of Roanoke
for a site for a public building for the accommodation of the
United States court-room, post-office, and other offices.

Approved March 8, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section two of said act be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:

§ 2. That this state hereby cedes to the United States
of America exclusive jurisdiction over such land during
the time the United States shall be or remain the owner
thereof for all purposes except the administration of the
criminal laws of this state and the service of civil pro-
cess therein.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
