Chap. 598.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of the first colored
Baptist church, of Manchester, Virginia, to borrow money and
give a deed of trust.
Approved March 2, 1892,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That James H. Cunningham, senior, Samuel Logan, Wil-
liam H. Hughes, senior, Woodson B. Mann and Robert
Harris, trustees of the first colored church, of Manchester,
Virginia, or their legally authorized successors, be, and
they are hereby, authorized to borrow an amount of money
not to exceed ten thousand dollars, at a rate of interest
not to exceed eight per centum per annum, to enable them
to rebuild in the said city, and secure the same by deed of
trust upon the present property of said church.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
