CHAP. 55.—An ACT extending the time for commencing the
construction of the railroad of the Dickenson county railway
company, and completing its main line.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section nine of chapter two hundred and forty-five, extra
session of eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, as amended
and re-enacted by chapter thirty-five of private acts of the
session of eighteen hundred and eighty-nine-ninety, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 9. The said company shall be required to commence
the construction of the said railroad within two years from
the first day of March, eighteen hundred and ninety-two,
and to complete the construction of the main line within
six years thereafter, or otherwise the powers, privileges,
and franchises hereby granted shall be annulled and be-
come void.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
