Chap. 547.—An ACT to authorize the Fairview cemetery com-
pany, of Roanoke county, to appoint police agents.

Approved March 1, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the president of the Fairview cemetery company, of
Roanoke county, Virginia, a company duly incorporated
by the laws of this state, may, with the approbation of the
county court of Roanoke county, appoint one or more po-
lice agents, who shall have authority, upon the cemetery
grounds and within three hundred yards thereof of said
company’s property, to exercise all the powers which car

lawfully be exercised by any constable for the preserva

tion of the peace, the arrest of offendere and disorderly

persons, and for the enforcement of the law against crimes
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
