CHAP. 533.—An ACT to provide for a re-registration of the voters
of the city of Roanoke.
Approved March 1, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the electoral board of the city of Roanoke shall, on
or before the twentieth day of March, eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, order a re-registration of the qualified
voters of the city of Roanoke, to be made by the registrars
of said city, commencing on the twenty-fifth day of April,
eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and continuing for five
successive days thereafter, providing in said order the re-
spective places of said registration, and shall make such
other requirements as is provided by law in reference to
the registration of said voters: provided that nothing
in this act shall prevent any qualified voters in said city
from registering on the regular registration days as now
provided by law who shall fail to register on the days
herein provided for.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
