CHAP. 532,—An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to incorpo-
rate the Bedford and James river railroad company.

Approved March 1, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section thirteen of the act entitled ““an act to in-
corporate the Bedford and James river railroad,” approved
February sixth, eighteen hundred and ninety, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 13. The said company shall be required to commence
the construction of said road within two years from the
passage of this act, and to complete the same within seven
years thereafter; and the common council of Bedford
Jity and the county court of Bedford shall have the right
to order an election for subscription to the capital stock
of said company within the period of two years allowed by
this act in the same manner and upon the same terms as
are required by its charter.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
