CHaP. 520.—An ACT to correct an error in the title and to give
effect to an act entitled ‘‘ an act toamend an act incorporating
the Ladies’ memorial association of Fredericksburg of Apri
4th, 1874, approved January 11th, 1892, being chapter 47 of the
acts of the present general assembly of Virginia.
Approved March 1, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That an act entitled “an act incorporating the Ladies’
memorial association of Fredericksburg, Virginia,” ap-
proved January eleventh, eighteen hundred and ninety-
two, be amended and corrected, so that the title of the said
act, being chapter forty-seven of the acts of this general
assembly, shall so read that the title shall be an act en-
titled ‘an act to amend an act incorporating the Ladies’
memorial association of Fredericksburg, Virginia,” ap-
proved April thirtieth, eighteen hundred and seventy-four,
instead of April fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy-
four, as erroneously passed and approved.
§ 2. That all the provisions of said act of January
eleventh, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, being chapter
forty-seven of the acts of this general assembly, be, and
are hereby, declared to have like force and effect as if
re-enacted here section by section.
§ 3. That in printing said act, chapter forty-seven,
authority is given to correct the title of that act, so that
its title shall read “an act to amend an act incorporating
the Ladies’ memorial association of Fredericksburg, Vir-
ginia,” approved April thirtieth, eighteen hundred and
seventy-four, instead of April fourth, eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, as passed, approved and printed in the
advance sheets of the acts of the present general assem-
bly of Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
