Chap. 502.—An ACT to extend the time of settlement of the
sureties of P. T. Beamer, late treasurer of Carroll county.

Approved February 29, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the time for the settlement of any sum due from the
sureties of P. T. Beamer, late treasurer of Carroll county,
to the commonwealth of Virginia, be extended to the first
day of October, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and the
auditor and attorney-general are hereby directed not to
bring any legal proceedings against the said sureties until
after said time.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage, and only
on condition that the sureties of said P. T. Beamer shal!
file with the auditor of public accounts their written assent
to the provisions of this bill.
