CHAP. 40.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled ‘an act
to incorporate the Midlothian, Manchester, and Richmond rail-
way and mining company,’’ approved April sixth, eighteen hun-
dred and ei hty-eeven, and to re-enact the amendment thereto,
approved March first, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the act entitled “an act to incorporate the Midlo-
thian, Manchester and Richmond railway and mining
company,” approved April sixth, eighteen hundred and
eighty-seven, and the amendment thereto, approved March
first, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, are hereby re-
enacted; and the thirteenth section of said act of incor-
poration, approved April sixth, eighteen hundred and
eighty-seven, be, and the same is hereby, amended s0 as to
read as follows:
§ 13. The construction of said railway shall be com-
menced within two years from the sixth day of January,
eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and completed within
five years from this time. Any act in conflict with this
act is hereby repealed.
2.. This act shall be in force from its passage.
