CHAP. 298. —An ACT to authorize the school trustees of New
Garden district, in Russell county, to sell certain school property
in said district.
Approved February 16, 1892,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the trustees of the public schools for New Garden
district, in the county of Russell, be, and they are, author-
ized and empowered to sell the public school-house and
lot on which it stands, at Old Honaker, in said district, to
the highest bidder, after having given such notice as seems
best by them, and the clerk of the board shall convey the
same to the purchasers. The proceeds of said sale shall
go into the school fund of the said district.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
Chap. 299—An ACT repealing chapter 609, session acts 1889-'99,
entitled an act authorizing the district school trustees of the
various school districts of Buckingham county to appropriate
money to build a suitable building or buildings for one or more
graded schools at Backingham court-house, approved March 5,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That chapter six hundred and nine, of session acts of
2ighteen hundred and eighty-nine and eighteen hundred
and ninety, entitled an act authorizing the district school
trustees of the various school districts of Buckingham
county to appropriate money to build a suitable building
or buildings for one or more graded schools at Bucking-
ham court-house, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
