CHAP. 295.—An ACT to incorporate Old Point lodge, No. 144, in-
dependent order of odd fellows.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That Joseph G. Fulton, James Smith, Joseph Kahn, James
D. Winnie and M. H. Haas, and such other persons as are
and may hereafter be associated with them and their suc-
cessors, be, and they are hereby, constituted and made a
body corporate and politic, by the name and style of Old
Point lodge, number one hundred and forty-four, inde-
pendent order of odd fellows, and by that name and style,
shall have all the rights and powers and privileges con-
ferred, and be subject to all the provisions of the laws
now in force with regard to corporations.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
