CHAP. 281.—An ACT to advance the agricultural and industrial
interests of the state by providing for the assaying by the state
board of agriculture for the benefit of the owners thereof of any
minerals found in the state.
Approved February 16, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the state board of agriculture shall be charged with
the assaying, for the benefit of the owners thereof, of any
minerals found in this state, and shall have authority to
make such arrangements with the board of visitors of the
Virginia agricultural and mechanical college at Blacks-
burg as will secure the most economical performance of
this work.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
