CHAP. 267.—An ACT to authorize the school trustees of New
Garden district, in Russell county, to sell certain school prop-
erty in said district.

Approved February 16, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the trustees of the public schools for New Garden
district, in the county of Russell, be, and they are, au-
thorized and empowered to sell the public school-house
and lot on which it stands at Sword’s creek, and also the
school-house and lot on Kent’s ridge on which it stands,
in said district, to the highest bidder, after having given
such notice as seems best by them, and the clerk of the
board shall convey the same to the purchasers. The pro-
ceeds of said sale shall go into the school fund of the
said district.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
