Chap. 234.—An ACT to extend the time of B. B. Redwine, late
treasurer of Wise county, to collect certain taxes and levies
for the years 1887-’88-’89 and ’90.

Whereas B. B. Redwine, treasurer of Wise county, Vir-
ginia, has in hand various uncollected tax tickets for tax-
es and levies, state and county, for the year eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-seven, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight,
eighteen hundred and eighty-nine, and eighteen hundred
and ninety, none of which have been returned delinquent ;
therefore, .
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That authority is hereby given the said B. B. Redwine,
treasurer of Wise county, to collect the amount due on
said tickets for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-
seven, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-nine, and eighteen hundred and ninety,
and all of them, and to that end, that the said treasurer
shall have the power of levy and distress given county
treasurers by existing laws: provided that such power
shall not continue longer than one year from the passage
of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
