CHAP. 219.—An ACT to declare Rockfish river, in Nelson county,
between certain points, a lawful fence.
Approved February 15, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That that portion of Rockfish river, in Nelson county,
from the moutb of Davis creek to the stage bridge be,
and the same is hereby, declared a lawful fence as to all
stock mentioned in section two thousand and forty-two,
code of Virginia, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven:
provided, that nothing in this act shall be construed as
repealing section two thousand and thirty nine, code of
Virginia, eighteen hundred and eighty seven, relating to
making said river a lawful fence in said county between
its mouth and Tilman’s ford, and from the mouth of Davis
creek to the fork of said river.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
