CHAP. 203.—An ACT to incorporate the Bristol tobacco asso-
ciation.
Approved February 12, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That J. H. Winston, junior, A. D. Reynolds, Frank Win-
ston, J. W. Walker, S. T. Graves, W. Littleford, J.S. Penn,
and their associates and successors, are hereby constituted
a body corporate by the name of the Bristol tobacco agso-
ciation, for the purpose of encouraging, promoting, and
regulating the sale of leaf tobacco in the city of Bristol.
2. The said corporation shall have power to make and
adopt a constitution and by-laws, rules, and regulations
for the admission and expulsion of its members and their
government; to impose fines and collect the same; to elect
its officers and define their duties, and, from time to time,
to alter or repeal such constitution, by-laws, rules, and
regulations: provided that the same be not inconsistent
with the constitution and laws of the United States or the
state of Virginia.
3. All taxes due the commonwealth by said company
shall be paid in lawful money of the United States, and
not in coupons.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
