CHAP. 186.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the second clause o
section 2079 of the code of Virginia, in relation to unlawfu
hunting, &c., in the county of Fluvanna.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia
That the second clause of section two thousand and sev-
enty-nine of the code of Virginia, in relation to unlawful
hunting, and so forth, be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
§ 2079. It shall be unlawful to kill or capture, or offer
for sale, or buy any partridges or quails between the first
day of January and the fifteenth day of October, or any
pheasants or ruffled grouse, or wild turkeys between the
first day of February and the fifteenth day of September,
in the counties west of the Blue Ridge (except Rock-
bridge,) and in Rockbridge and the counties east of the
Blue Ridge (except Prince Edward and Fluvanna) be-
tween the fifteenth day of January and the fifteenth day
of October; and in Prince Edward between the first day
of March and the fifteenth day of October; and in Flu-
vanna between the fifteenth day of February and the fif-
teenth day of November; or at any time to take or destroy
the eggs of partridges or quails, phedsants or ruffled
grouse, or wild turkeys, or catch them with nets or traps.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
