CHAP. 153.—An ACT to allow J. W. Waldron, deputy treasurer
of Buchanan county, further time in which to collect unpaid
taxes and levies for the years 1887, 1888, and 1889.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That authority is hereby granted J. W. Waldron, deputy
treasurer of Buchanan county, to collect any tax accounts
in his hands for state taxes and county and district levies
for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, eighteen
hundred and eighty-eight, and eighteen hundred and
eighty-nine, which have not been returned delinquent or in-
solvent, and for which the said J. W. Waldron has ac-
counted with the state and county; and he shall have the
same power of levy and distress as treasurers now possess
under the revenue laws: provided, however, that the au-
thority granted by this act shall only extend for a period
of one year from the date of its passage.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
