CHAP. 147.—An ACT to empower the Trustees of the district
school board of Union Hall school district, Franklin county, to
use any surplus county public school funds belonging to said
district for the purpose of purchasing or erecting buildings for
school purposes, or discharging any indebtedness of the said
district.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the board of trustees of Union Hall school district, of
Franklin county, Virginia, be, and they are hereby, au-
thorized and empowered to devote and use any surplus
county public school funds belonging to said district, now
in hand, or that may be in hand within five years from
the passage of this act, for the purpose of paying off the
indebtedness of said district, or erecting and repairing
public school houses in said district.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
