CHAP. 146.—An ACT to allow Lewis W. Courtney, and Mrs. G.
S. Bailey to erect a wharf at Kinsale, in the county of West-
moreland, on the Yeocomico river.
Approved February 2, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That L. W. Courtney, of the county of Northumberland,
and Mrs. G. S. Bailey, of the county of Westmoreland, be,
and they are hereby, authorized to erect a wharf at Kinsale,
in the county of Westmoreland, on the Yeocomico river, on
the land belonging jointly to the said L. W. Courtney and
Mrs. G. S. Bailey, subject to all the laws of the state gov-
erning all wharves erected on the waters of the common-
wealth; and provided also, that this act shall at all times
be under the control of the general assembly, and be
amended or repealed, as may be deemed proper; and pro-
vided further, that nothing herein contained shall be con-
strued to give the said parties any right to extend their
wharf beyond the boundary lines of their own land as
extended into the river, without bend or curve, so that
none of the water front of the adjacent property shall be
encroached on or covered by said wharf.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
