Chap. 144. —An ACT to amend and re-enact the 8th section of an
act, entitled ‘‘ an act to establish a corporation court for the city
of Radford, in Montgomery county,” approved January 29, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section eight of an act, entitled an act to establish
a corporation court for the city of Radford, in Montgomery
county, approved January twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
§ 8. The judge of the said corporation court shall re-
ceive such annual salary as shall be fixed by the council
of the city of Radford, not to exceed seven hundred and
fifty dollars, to be paid as provided by law, and the said
judge shall qualify by taking the oath required by law
within thirty days after he receives his commission, said
oath to be taken before any notary public, or any clerk of
a court of record.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
