porating the Plummer memorial female college of Wytheville,
approved February 7th, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section three of an act approved February seventh,
eighteen hundred and eighty-four, entitled an act to
incorporate the Plummer memorial female college of
Wytheville, Virginia, be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:

§ 3. The board of trustees shall have power to mortgage
or otherwise encumber the real estate belonging to said
institution or to lease the same for any period of time
that they may think best.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
