CHAP. 115.—An ACT to provide for recording the change of trus-
tees in the Staunton perpetual building and loan company.
Approved February 2, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That when for any cause a new trustee or trustees shall
be elected or appointed according to the provisions of the
charter of said company and the constitution and by-laws
adopted thereunder, such appointment or election shall be
duly certified by the secretary of said company to the
clerk of any county or corporation in whose office any
deed or deeds of trust or mortgage or other lien taken by
or given to said company to secure the payment of any
money or other thing shall be recorded, said clerk or clerks
shall record said certificate of appointment or election in
the current deed book kept by him in his said office and
duly index the same according to law, and thereafter the
trustee or trustees so appointed or elected as aforesaid
shall be substituted to all the rights, powers, privileges,
and charged with all the duties and obligations of any
former trustee or trustees of the said company in every
and all deed or deeds, conveyance or conveyances, made
to such former trustee or trustees as fully and completely
as if the said new trustee or trustees had been appointed
and substituted in such mode or manner as is by statute
law in such cases provided.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
