CHAP. 99.—An ACT for the relief of Mrs. E. A. Pittman and
Migs S. C. Pittman.
Approved February 24, 1890.
Whereas a petition has been presented to the general
assembly of Virginia, signed by the members of the com-
mon council of Fredericksburg and the jury that tried the
case of the commonwealth against the said E. A. Pittman
and S. C. Pittman, setting forth reasons and asking
that the said E. A. Pittman and S. C. Pittman be
relieved of a fine of one hundred and fifty dollars im-
posed upon them by the corporation court of Fredericks-
burg on the thirteenth of August, eighteen hundred and
eighty-five; and whereas the said E. A. and S. C. Pittman
have paid said fine,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the said EK. A. and 8. C. Pittman be, and they are
hereby, relieved of the fine of one hundred and fifty dol-
lars, as aforesaid, and the auditor of public accounts is
hereby directed to draw his warrant on the treasurer of
the state for said sum, payable to the order of said E. A.
and S. C. Pittman, to be paid out of any moneys in the
treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
