CHAP. 8.—An ACT requiring the same waiver in recognizances
as is required in relation to certain bonds by section 177 of the
code of Virginia.

Approved December 19, 1889.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That every recognizance hereafter made or taken shall
include such a waiver as is required by section one hun-
dred and seventy-seven of the code of Virginia, in rela-
tion to the bonds therein mentioned; and though such
waiver be not expressed in the recognizance, it shall be
deemed to be included therein in like manner and with
the same effect as if it was so expressed.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
