CHAP. 70.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 913 of the
code of Virginia, in relation to who are disqualified to be county
surveyor.

Approved February 17, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section nine hundred and thirteen of the code of
Virginia be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows :

§913. No clerk or deputy clerk of any county court shall
hold the office of surveyor or deputy surveyor in the same
county, except in the counties of Nansemond, Isle of
Wight, Alexandria, Accomac, and Northampton.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
