Chap. 196.—An ACT to protect schools, literary societies, é&c.
Approved March 4, 1890.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
if any person willfully interrupt, molest, or disturb any
school exercises, free school or other school, literary soci-
ety, or being intoxicated disturb the same, whether will-
fully or not, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
fined not less than ten nor more than fifty dollars, or at
the discretion of the court, be confined in the jail of the
county not more than thirty days in addition to said fine.
A justice of the peace, or police justice may try and deter-
mine these cases.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
