CHAP. 89.—An ACT to authorize the supervisors of Isle of Wight
county to borrow money.

Approved January 24, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the board of supervisors of Isle of Wight be, and
they are hereby, authorized to borrow a sum of money,
not exceeding six thousand dollars, for the purpose of
buying, building, and repairing bridges in said county ;
and they are hereby authorized to issue bonds for the
same; provided that the said bonds shall not bear an
interest of more than six per centum per annum and
shall not run longer than ten years.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
