Chap. 816.—An ACT to extend the time for the collection of taxes
in the county of Mecklenburg for the year 1889.

1. Be it enacted by the general asgembly of Virginia,
That the further time of six months from the first day of
June, eighteen hundred and ninety, be allowed the treas-
urer of the county of Mecklenburg to collect the taxes of
paid county for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-nine,
and to make his final settlement for the year with the
auditor of public accounts, and with the board of super-
visors of said county; “but this act shall be inoperative
until each and every one of the sureties of the said treas-
urer shall have filed with the auditor of public accounts
their written consent to the provisions of this act.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
OHAP. 317.—An ACT to make the boundary lines of lots and
tracts of land in Pleasant Grove magisterial district, Norfolk
county, a lawful fence.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the boundary lines of lots and tracts of land in
Pleasant Grove magisterial district, Norfolk county, Vir-
ginia, shall be a lawful fence as to any or all animals
mentioned in section twenty hundred and forty-two of the
code of Virginia, edition of eighteen hundred and eighty-
seven.
2. This act shall he in force from its passage.
