CyChap. 67.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 9 of act
approved January 28, 1886, entitled an act to amend sections 2
4, and 9 of an act approved February 25, 1884, entitled an
to establish a corporation court for the city of Roanoke.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section nine of an act approved January twenty-
eighth, eighteen hundred and eight-six, entitled an act to
amend and re-enact sections two, four and nine of an act
approved February twenty-fifth, eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, entitled an act to establish a corporation
court for the city of Roanoke, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
§ 9. The judge of said corporation court shall receive an
annual salary of not less than seven hundred and fifty
nor more tham twenty-five hundred dollars, to be fixed by
the council of the city of Roanoke, to be paid as provided
by law; and the said judge shall qualify by taking the
oaths required by law within thirty days after he receives
his commission, said oaths to be taken before any notary
public or any clerk of a court of record.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
