CHAP. 61.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of the
charter of the Citizens bank of Norfolk, Virginia.
Approved January 16, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section two (2) of an act entitled “an act to incor-
porate the Citizens’ bank, in the city Norfolk,” passed
twentieth of April, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
2. The capital stock of the said corporation shall not be
less than twenty-five thousand dollars, in shares of one
hundred dollars each, which may be increased from time
to time to a sum not exceeding six hundred thousand dol-
lars.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
CHap 62.—An ACT to authorize the Max Meadows land and
improvyment company to subscribe for, guarantee or acquire
the -tock and bonds of any corporation.
Approved January 16, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the Max Meadows land and improvement company
be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to subscribe
for, guarantee, or acquire the stock and bonds of any cor-
poration.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
