Chap. 578.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of
Stafford county to borrow money.

Approved March 4, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the board of supervisors of Stafford county be,
and are hereby, authorized and empowered to borrow
money, from time to time, at their discretion, to meet cur-
rent expenses of the county, and not to exceed one-half of
the county levy.

2. The said board is authorized to issue the bonds of the
county, for the payment of the money borrowed, signed
by its chairman; which bonds are to be payable as pro-
vided in the order of said board. Said bonds shall not be
sold for less than their par value.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
