Chap. 574.—Au ACT relating to taxing, uuder conditions, cer-
tain property of Dr. Horace D. Ashton, by virtue of an act
entitled an act to permit the citizens of a certain portion of
King George county to vote fora levy for the use, free of toll.

Fredericksburg, and to authorize the board of s'pervisors to
levy a tax for the use, free of toll, of said bridge, approved Jan-
uary 24, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia.
That none of the property of Horace D. Ashton at Blesk
Hill shall be assessed with taxes or levies by virtue
of any of the provisions of an act entitled an act to per-
mit the citizens of a certain portion of King George
county to vote for a levy for the use, free of toll, of 3
bridge to be erected across the Rappahannock river at
Fredericksburg, and to authorize the board of supervisors
to levy a tax for the use, free of toll, of said bridge, ap-
proved January twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and
ninety, except by and with his consent, and without such
consent his said property, real and personal,at Bleak Hill
shall be regarded as out of the district formed by section
one of said act for the purpose of taxation, but as desig-
nating boundary the continuity of the line shall not be
broken by anything contained in this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
CHAP. 575 —An ACT defining a lawful fence for Nelson county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That for and within the county of Nelson a fence made of
three planks, poles, wires or other rails, the bottom one of
which to be not more than two feet nor less than fifteen
inches from the ground, the top one not more than five
feet nor less than four and one-half feet from the ground,
and the middle one midway between the other two, shall
be deemed a lawful fence: provided, that this act shall
not be so construed as to render a lawful fence under, the
general law unlawful, nor so as to interfere with the powers
of the board of supervisors under section two thousand
and forty-eight of the code of Virginia or any act amenda-
tory thereof.
2. This act shall be in force on and after the first day
of April, eighteen hundred and ninety.
