CHAP. 526.—An ACT to prevent obstruction of streams in the
county of Mecklenburg.

Approved March 4, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to ob-
struct by fish-dam, or otherwise than mill-damsg, any and
al] streams in the county of Mecklenburg. Any person or
persons violating this act shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction shal] be fined not less
than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than fifty dollars
($50.00).

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
