CHAP. 507.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of
Russell county to issue and sell, or otherwise dispose of, bonds
of the county for the purpose of building bridges. |

Approved March 4, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the board of supervisors for the county of Russell,
in addition to their powers and ditties under the general
provisions of the code of Virginia, shall have power in
their discretion to issue and sell or otherwise dispose of
bonds of the county of Russell for the purpose of build-
ing bridges, macadamizing and otherwise improving the
roads of said county. Nothing in this act shall be con-
strued to authorize said board of supervisors to in any
way increase the present rate of county taxes.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
