Chap. 47.—An ACT to amend chapter 218 of the Acts of 1887-8
touching the killing of partridges in Clarke county,
Approved January 14, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That an act approved February twenty-fourth, eighteen
hundred and eighty-eight, entitled an act to prescribe the
time for killing partridges in the county of Accomack and
certain other counties be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
§1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That it shall not be lawful to kill and capture partridges
in the counties of Accomack, Northampton, Smyth,
Franklin, Bedford, Amherst, Augusta and Washington,

between the first day of February and the first day of
November in each year, and in the county of Clarke it shall
not be lawful to kill or capture partridges between December
twenty-fifth and October thirty-first, inclusive, of each year.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed, and this act shall be in force from its
passage.
