CHAP. 350.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act
entitled an act to incorporate the Richmond City and Seven
Pines railway company, approved February 3, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section two of an act approved February third, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-eight, entitled an act to incorpo-
rate the Richmond City and Seven Pines railway com-
pany, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§2. The said company shall have power and authority to
construct, equip, maintain, and operate a street railway,
commencing at some point between Twenty-fifth and P
streets and Twenty-ninth and P streets, in the city of
Richmond, and extending along Twenty-fifth, Twenty-
sixth, Twenty-seventh, Twenty-eighth, or Twenty-ninth
streets, as they may select, to the Nine-Mile road, in the
county of Henrico; thence along and on the Nine-Mile road
to Seven Pines, in the county of Henrico; but the said com-
pany shall have the right to leave the said Nine-Mile road and
return to the same at such points as it may select, and to build
ats road between such points on some route other than on the
Nine-Mile road, and to acquire by condemnation, or otherwise,
the right of way over such route not on the Nine-Mile road.
But the said road shall be built and operated s0 as not to
interfere with travel upon and along the said Nine-Mile
road and the streets of the said city, and they shall be used
with the consent of the county court of Henrico county
and the common council of the city of Richmond.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
