CHaP. 302.—An ACT to authorize a deed for a portion of the land
belonging to the congregation of St. James’ church in Church-
ville, Augusta county.
Approved February 19, 1890.
Whereas the congregation of Saint James’ church (Lu-
theran) at Churchville, Augusta county, through its trus-

tees sold to G. W. W. Hanger, a small portion of its church
lot in the village of Churchville, in the county of Augusta,
in September, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, and
now desire to make a deed for same to the purchaser thereof ;
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That J. H. B. Sellars, Henry B. Seig, and John Ronda-
bush, trustees for Saint James’ church, at Churchville,
Augusta county, or any two of them, are authorized to con-
vey by deed with special warranty of title, to G. W. W.
Hanger, astripof land twenty-four feet wide of the western
side of the lot of land held and owned by said congrega-
tion in the village of Churchville, in Augusta county, said
deed to be delivered to said purchaser in accordance with
the terms of his purchase.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
