CHAP. 287.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 4 of chapter
224 of the acts of assembly of 1877-78, entitled an act to incor.
porate the Peninsula railroad company.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia
That the fourth section of chapter two hundred anc
twenty-four of the acts of assembly, eighteen hundred and
seventy-seven and eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, as
amended and re-enacted by an act approved January four-
teen, eighteen hundred and ninety, be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
§4. That the annual meeting of the stockholders of the
company for the purpose of the election of seven directors
shall be held in the office of the company at Cape Charles
City, Northampton County, Virginia, on the third Tuesday
in March of each year, at which meeting a statement of
the receipts and expenditures made and adjusted to the
thirty-first day of December, inclusive, of the preceding
year shall be exhibited by. the directors, and the accounts
of said company shall be kept to correspond therewith.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
