CHAP. 246.—An ACT to repeal chapter 302 of acts of assembly
of 1887-’88, to provide for working and altering roads, building
and repairing bridges in the county of Mecklenburg.
Approved February 17, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That chapter three hundred and two of acts of assembly
of eighteen hundred and eighty-seven and eight, provid-
ing for the working and altering of roads and building
and repairing bridges in the county of Mecklenburg, be,
and the same is hereby, repealed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
CHapP. 247 —An ACT to allow J. B. Wise to erect a wharf on
Cherrystone Creek, in Northampton county.
Approved February 17, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That J. B. Wise, of the county of Northampton, be, and
he is hereby, authorized to erect a wharf on Cherrystone
creek, in Northampton county, on the land of L. M. Tay-
lor, by and with the consent of said L. M. Taylor, and be
subject to all the laws of the state governing all wharves
erected in the waters of the commonwealth, and provided
also that this act shal) at all times be under the control
of the general assembly, and be amended or repealed as
may be deemed proper.
2. This act.shall be in force from its passage.
