Chap. 225.—An ACT to authorize the board of school trustees of
Lee magisterial district, in the county of Accomack, to borrow
money for the pose of erecting a school-house in the town of
Onancock, in the district and county aforesaid.
Approved February 17, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the board of school trustees of Lee magisterial dis-
trict, in the county of Accomack, be authorized to borrow
twelve hundred dollars for the purpose of erecting a build-
ing to be used as a graded school-house in the town of
Onancock, in Lee magisterial district, in the county of
Accomack.
2. That said board shall issue six bonds of two hundred
dollars each, payable, respectively, January first, eighteen
hundred and ninety-one, eighteen hundred and ninety-
two, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, eighteen hundred
and ninety-four, eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and
eighteen hundred and ninety-six; said bonds to carry
interest from date after the rate of six per centum per
annum; such interest to fall due January first, eighteen
hundred and ninety-one, eighteen hundred and ninety-
two, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, eighteen hundred
and ninety-four, eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and
eighteen hundred and ninety-six. These bonds shall be
issued in the name of said board as obligor, and shall be
signed by the chairman of the board and attested by its
clerk. -
3. Said board shall, out of the money under its control
for each year, first appropriate a sum sufficient to pay in:
full the one of said bonds falling due that year, and the
accrued interest on all of the other bonds before any of
the money is appropriated for other district purposes.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
