Chap. 91.—An ACT to allow W. W. Allmond to erect a wharf on York
river, in Gloucester county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
W. W. Allmond, of the county of Gloucester, be and he is
hereby authorized to erect a wharf on York river, for the
purpose of shipping and receiving freight on or from vessels
or stermers, and be subject to all ‘the laws of Virginia gwovern-
ing all wharves erected in the waters of the commonwealth;
the said W. W. Allmond, his heirs or assigns, shall have the
rieht to charge such compensation for the use of said whart
as may have been agreed upon by and between the parties, or
as are usual: provided that said whart shall not interfere with
havivation: and provided also, that this act shall at all times
be under the control of the general assembly, and be amended
or repealed, as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
